BySupa ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SupaTan mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Skin Profile: Hair color, eye color, skin reaction type, and tanning goal. This is stored locally on your device and used to personalize your sessions.
• Session Data: Tanning session logs including duration, UV index, and skin feedback. Stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
• Photos: Before and after photos you take during sessions. These are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: We access your location only while using the app to provide accurate UV forecasts for your area. We do not store or transmit your precise location to our servers.
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., which features are used, session counts) to improve the app. This data cannot identify you personally.
• Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash data to fix bugs and improve stability.

How We Use Your Information

• To personalize your tanning sessions based on your skin profile
• To provide accurate UV forecasts for your location
• To send you session reminders and alerts (flip, SPF, overtime)
• To improve the app through anonymous analytics
• To fix crashes and bugs

Data Storage

Your personal data (skin profile, session history, photos) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information. Analytics data is processed by Google Firebase under their privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Anonymous usage and crash data. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Apple StoreKit: Subscription and purchase management is handled entirely by Apple. Apple Privacy Policy
• Open-Meteo: Weather and UV forecast data. No personal information is shared — only latitude/longitude coordinates for forecast requests.

Subscriptions

Subscription management and payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Anonymous analytics data is processed by Firebase as described above.

Children's Privacy

SupaTan is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all app data by uninstalling SupaTan. To reset your analytics identifier, you can disable analytics in your device settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
